peercisely: Product launch

peercisely is a startup that wants to reimagine how employers recruit new talent. They came to Camp Creative with an app but no clear path on how to launch the company or how to communicate their value prop.

We started with some brand setting exercises, to distill the brand essence of peercisely.  I conducted several in-depth interviews with the principals and crafted a short, succinct and clear story of what and who peerlessly are. We created personas so we could identify and tailor discrete messaging for the distinct audiences: job recruiters, referrers, and job candidates.

I developed and wrote a :30 ‘elevator pitch’ which can be shared by anyone to help tell the peercisely story. I also wrote expanded :60 and 2:00 stories.

Kaiser Health: Rethink Your Drink

Kaiser wanted to add their collective voice to the ongoing conversation about childhood obesity. The wanted to communicate the health risk of drinking soda to a young, predominantly urban audience. They were unsure of how to best connect with elementary school kids: Bus placards? Billboards? School outreach? They contacted me and I suggested a series of animated PSAs which could run on broadcast TV or online. I concepted, wrote and directed two commercials and co-wrote a rap song. Dallas Museum of Nature and Science: Formation Story

The challenge: create a short film that explains how our universe was created. It needs to pass the scrutiny of MIT astrophysicists but also be understandable and compelling enough for 11-year old kids. This is the first exhibit visitors see as they enter the new Dallas Museum of Nature and Science. I worked on this for over a year, reading and studying Stephen Hawking and meeting with said astrophysicists from MIT. The exhibits (I was Creative Director for a total of 5 exhibits at the museum) got great reviews from NY Times, Dallas Times, National Geographic, and others.
